Replace performance-limiting RF signal processing hardware with CFD’s optical fiber-based system for significant performance and SWaP advantages.

This solution provides your RF System performance improvements that will increase data rates by up to 2x while dynamically eliminating interfering signals. The flexible nature of the underlying photonic architecture enables multifunction capabilities, including simultaneous access to multiple sensors for use in communications, SIGINT, RADAR, and EW systems.

CFD’s optical fiber-based wideband tuner goes beyond RF-over-fiber systems by incorporating analog signal processing functions including frequency up- and down-conversion, switching, system-wide equalization, and reconfigurable filtering.

Dynamic spectrum tailoring provides adjustable instantaneous bandwidth, equalization of gain slope and ripple, and the ability to add multiple notch filters throughout the spectrum. The tailored spectrum is tunable across the entire frequency range.
